What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? Personally, I'm a casual gamer. I like to play some RPGs and sports simulations (especially football), but sometimes I also like to pick up a book. Still, not as much as I would like to. If you've found yourself in any of these two descriptions, Zagreb is the perfect destination for you during November. The best thing of all is that you don't even need to choose. The book fair, Interliber, and one of the biggest annual gaming conventions in Europe - Reboot Infogamer are held at the same time, next door to each other, on Zagrebački Velesajam. 

Interliber

Over 40 years, Interliber has been holding the title of the central venue for the promotion of books, writers, reading, science, and knowledge. The fair always gathers some of the most significant publishers and booksellers. Both Zagreb Interliber and Reboot Infogamer will be held from the 12th to the 17th of November. A great thing about Zagreb Interliber is that it transcends national boundaries and is gaining an increasing international recognition through a growing number of foreign exhibitors each year. Interliber is not just a great way to browse some of the newest titles of world literature. It is also an excellent opportunity for business meetings and networking of publishers, booksellers, librarians, and authors. Around 130 thousand visitors visit Interliber each year. If you ask me, it's just another reason to visit it, whether you're an author or just a book lover. Besides books, Interliber will allow you to meet people of similar literature interests. This proves invaluable for people who think they have an excellent literature choice. You might surprise yourself how much like-minded people you might have.

At Interliber, you shall have the opportunity to browse through exhibits of more than 300 exhibitors from 13 countries with the accompanying programs and around a hundred thousand guests. All of this and more is the reason why Zagrebians love Interliber so much. It is really a mega-popular. In fact, it is so popular that there will be buses of people coming from all over Croatia and the region to visit Interliber. Will we see you there? I think yes!

Reboot Infogamer

As I already said, Reboot Infogamer is one of the biggest annual games conventions in Europe, and this year will be its eighth edition. The convention will spread over 20 thousand square meters and will attract more than 100 thousand visitors from all over Europe. So, let's move away from the numbers and pay some attention to the important things here - games. For me, one of the most important things to find out at this year's Infogamer will definitely be the arrival of the new PlayStation console. After over six years of the PlayStation 4 existence, Sony, one of the most popular gaming consoles manufacturers, has finally announced the arrival of the new PlayStation 5. It will be interesting to see how much more it will be revealed at this edition of Reboot Infogamer.

You could be a casual, semi-pro, or professional gamer, or maybe you don't even like computer games at all, but I'm sure you've heard about e-sports. Yeah, you've read that right, gaming became a sport nowadays. Not only does it have a massive audience, but it became a global multi-billion dollar business. For me, gaming is a unique combination of skill, creativity, entertainment, and imagination. There's nothing alike in the world. It's an activity you could practice by yourself, but which is, in my opinion, ten times better when shared with friends. Reboot Infogamer represents a perfect opportunity to meet new friends who like the same types of games as you do.

And not to forget, a game wouldn't be what it is without the players. And at this year's Reboot Infogamer, you'll get the chance to see the final clash of the best regional teams in CS: GO, DOTA2, Hearthstone, and Clash Royale.

Zagreb Fair

In conclusion, it's tough to say why do Zagrebians love Zagrebački Velesajam or Zagreb Fair. Not because there's no reason for it, but because there's too many of them. Interliber and Reboot Infogamer are just a type of events you can visit at Zagreb Fair. Concerts, fashion shows, car, and nautical exhibits are just some of the things you can see at Zagreb Fair. All of this is contributing to the Zagreb offer and the advancement of the Zagrebian society in general. It's a perfect venue for those who like to think in "the bigger, the better" direction. With over thirty halls, pavilions, and facilities, it's one of the biggest fairs in Croatia and beyond. If you haven't been to Zagreb Fair, you haven't really been to Zagreb, and now, during these two events, you have a great reason to come.
