Today, I'm about to take you on a journey that will leave you absolutely spellbound. We're diving deep into the heart of Zagreb, where a whole new world of luxury and comfort is opening up. So, get ready to explore the dazzling realm of Zagreb's latest hospitality wonders!
A Glimpse of Opulence
With its history, culture, and charm, Zagreb has always been a city of wonder. But guess what? The city's hospitality scene has just been elevated to a new level, and I'm thrilled to reveal all the exciting details!
I have to admit that I am yet to visit each of them, but I'll tell you everything I've heard and seen so far about these few hotels.
Zonar: Where Luxury Meets Heritage
Let's start with the one geographically closest to me.
Hotel Zonar Zagreb recently opened on the site of the former Panorama Hotel and very quickly became the pride of the western part of Zagreb. The residents of Trešnjevka were particularly delighted by its opening since now, right above the Dom sportova (House of Sports), this new center of Zagreb's business life is thriving. With its opening, the West came to life again in an urban-luxurious way.
As you step inside, be prepared to be swept off your feet by the fusion of contemporary design and timeless charm. Each corner tells a story, and every room is a haven of comfort. Oh, did I mention the breathtaking views of the city? From here, Zagreb unfolds like a living, breathing masterpiece.
And for all of you who don't know yet, the pool at the top of the hotel is available to the public for a surcharge of up to ten euros with a cocktail included. All you need for this enjoyment is to find a good time when there is room for you upstairs.
Met Boutique Hotel: A Modern Oasis
Moving on to another jewel – the Met Hotel. The name alone makes you think of sophistication, right? This modern oasis redefines urban hospitality. Located in the dynamic city center, it's more than a hotel – it's an experience carefully curated to cater to your every need.
I obviously skipped the opening somehow, since I only noticed its new look after several years of construction when I returned from the coast. You can imagine my surprised face reflected in their new glass door.
But, with chic rooms that redefine comfort and stunning city panoramas that will leave you speechless, Met Hotel is the urban explorer's dream come true.

Grand Hotel Zagreb: Elegance in Wellness
Also nestled in the western part of Zagreb, the fully renovated Grand Hotel Zagreb is now a four-star haven. Its 159 rooms and 4 suites offer comfortable retreats, while the star feature is undoubtedly the extensive 800-square-meter wellness area. It's a haven of relaxation with an indoor heated pool, whirlpools, saunas, ice fountains, salt rooms, and floating rooms.
Beyond wellness, the hotel's charm extends to versatile event spaces ideal for weddings and gatherings. Seamlessly blending functionality with elegance, Grand Hotel Zagreb is an alluring destination for year-round holidays, business events, and weddings.
Art'otel: Converging Art and Luxury
Saving the best for last, let's talk about the much-anticipated art'otel.
This avant-garde masterpiece isn't merely a hotel; it's a canvas where art and luxury unite to create a truly unmatched experience. The anticipation is palpable, and I'm on the edge of my seat to witness how this establishment becomes a cultural haven, reflecting Zagreb's artistic essence.
