Zagreb is a living organism. The streets are full of people's energy; its parks and shops echo the footsteps of those who live in it or visit it. For them, the city, through its artists, brings Artupuncture - a collaboration of all partners and friends of culture and creation, which aims to awaken its vital energy in certain parts of the city, through joint artistic activities. The Artupuncture project approaches the individual as a unique artistic and social being, serving them the beauty and value produced from by the authors behind this work. These works, strategically arranged in numerous points around the city, will write a different story about Zagreb.

About Artupuncture

The project was conceived as a platform for culture and art, which various participants, with their programs, have joined at the invitation of the Zagreb Tourist Board. The ultimate goal of Artupuncture is to develop a recognizable event during autumn, which would, over time, become a unique event and a new reason to visit Zagreb, and the month of September would thus be reserved for culture and art.

Different in every moment, and always on the move, Zagreb is known for its unique atmosphere and positive energy. During September, a significant contribution will be made by this project, marked by unusual exhibitions in the streets of the city.

Art heals!

With an artistic touch, brush movement, shaping objects and sculptures or a play with light and shadow, artists will imprint beauty, energy and artistic vision into a dozen creative projects in the streets of Zagreb and in interesting locations, thus elevating the city itself. Art erases the scars we gain with time and circumstances which we live in.

In the streets and squares, in parks, galleries, city windows and on the facades of buildings, even in places which are otherwise typically advertising billboards, prescribed art therapy writes a unique, new Zagreb story, in expected and completely unusual places. Art heals, truly heals.

Every September, there for you.

The Artupuncture project was conceived as a platform for culture and art, which aims to popularize the art scene and revitalize the city, guided by the idea of the project - Zagreb's Art Therapy. It started with numerous participants responding to the invitation of the Zagreb Tourist Board - from individuals, museums and galleries, to faculties and organizers of previously established city projects. All of them are united by innovative programs with the same goal: to create a recognizable event that will bring new, engaging content to the residents of Zagreb and their guests, every September.

This year's edition brings a rich and varied program with a distinctive artistic imprint and a recognizable story.
There are projects from 36 Mountains Studio, ALU - Perspective, Art Zagreb 2021, BOIR on Dolac - 9 decades / 9 arcades, Rally in galleries, Lauba Art&City, Q'ART Project Gallery Ilica and Social Processes and „Room 10“ in Meštrović's pavilion.
